The problem isn’t the MBTI. The problem is the over simplification of shallow sites that treat the MBTI like a newspaper horoscope instead of the sophisticated instrument it can be in the right hands. The letters are taken at face value, stereotypes of the types abound, and no mention of the *cognitive* functions are ever uttered. aLBoP is MBTI done correctly.

My experience on aLBoP is being very very… enchanting! Over the internet, I learned a about MBTI, about the “behavior” of the personalities… Then, you guys helped me to figure out that those informations are inaccurate and based on stereotypes!
I discovered this amazing source of information… I could see your methods are trustable and scientific. I finally learned about the work of Functions, and the 4 Toi.
The first thing I thought was “OMG they write SO MUCH, there are so many articles! I am immensely grateful for this”, you guys have this care for us. To teach us not only the truth, but what makes real sense. The info on articles, the illustrations, the care for such details… It truly touches my heart. Keep up the good work. I am reading everything, almost reaching the Phase 2 Intro.

Thanks DJ! We really appreciate your comment <3 And sorry, a lot of people have been having technical difficulties with the Phase 2 Intro login. We actually just added this note to Phase 2 today:
Note: Due to current and strange technical difficulties, when you first create a username and password for the Phase 2 Intro, the login page may act like you need to do it again. If it asks you to make a username and password again after you already did, simply reload the page instead, and you should be logged in just fine.
Does that work for you?

I’m a bookworm and I love words. The words here have become particularly important to me because I’ve learned so much about people, especially myself, through aLBoP and the self-reflection that it inspired. So it’s sad and almost scary to read about how words can fail. But I’m grateful to this post for reminding me to continue to question and discover–even if it’s not the easiest, it’s the most rewarding.
P.S. I would love to read the Winston Churchill post.
